Elon Musk Rejects Job Scarcity Mindset ‘Infinite Potential’ for Job Creation

Elon Musk recently shot down the idea that there’s a shortage of jobs and businesses.

He believes there is unlimited potential for job and company growth.

Musk called the “fixed pie” belief—a common economic theory—misguided, pointing out that new jobs and companies are constantly being created, just like many didn’t exist 20 or 30 years ago.

Musk’s comments came after entrepreneur Joe Lonsdale shared a post about Sriram Krishnan, who has been tapped for a role in President-elect Trump’s administration.

Krishnan suggested removing green card country caps to allow for more skilled immigration.

Musk agreed with Krishnan, emphasizing the need to open up the green card process for the best talent, regardless of where they are born.

David Sacks, another key figure in the tech world, also supported the idea of making the green card system based on skills rather than unlimited access.

Musk’s remarks highlight his belief that innovation and job creation are not limited by current economic thinking, but instead have endless possibilities.
