This 31-Year-Old Makes $3,000 a Month With Just 2 Hours a Week on His Side Hustle: ‘Trust Your Vision’

Hansel Moore’s home office just wasn’t cutting it, so he found a new space to get creative and make some extra money.

Hansel Moore, 31, from Dallas, started his side hustle in June 2024. He works in tech sales, but he loves creating content on YouTube.

Also, he runs two channels: Simply Tech HD, all about tech, and Hansel Moore II, where he shares his journey as an entrepreneur.

So, his home office was too small for all his projects, so he decided to find a bigger place to work. He set up his business by creating an LLC, figuring out what kind of space he needed, and listing it on Peerspace to rent out.

Thus, he promoted the space on social media to get people excited, and for the grand opening, he invited family, friends, and local creators to spread the word.

Starting his first business came with some challenges, though.

Hansel had to figure out how to build the space, deal with city rules, and hire the right people.

“The hardest part was all the things I didn’t know,” he said. “But I kept working through it.” After months of calls and meetings, the space was ready in just two months.

It didn’t take long for him to make money. In his first month, he made over $3,500.

By early 2025, bookings were higher than ever, and he expected to double his revenue from the year before.

What Hansel loves most is meeting new people and working with creators who use his space.

His advice for anyone wanting to start a side hustle is simple: “Believe in yourself, trust your vision, and love what you do.
