Responsibilities

• Drive end to end program ownership: Lead planning and execution for complex, cross team Azure Compute scenarios informed by customer insights and data.

• Shape product strategy: Define clear, measurable goals and roadmaps that align with organizational priorities and deliver incremental customer value.

• Partner across engineering: Collaborate with development teams on architecture, trade offs, and delivery plans that balance quality, performance, and time to market.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure (Compute IaaS, host/virtualization, platform services) or equivalent cloud platforms.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 8+ years experience delivering concise written narratives and clear, confident executive presentations.
• 6+ years experience with end-to-end program ownership: strategy/OKRs, planning, execution, launch, and operational excellence.
• 4+ years of experience mentoring and elevating TPM/engineering practices across an organization.
• 4+ years of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
• 4+ years of experience with Azure (Compute IaaS, host/virtualization, platform services) or equivalent cloud platforms.
• 2+ years exposure to the hardware–software boundary (e.g., silicon acceleration, hypervisor/host, drivers, platform services).

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
